Polish Spirit Italian Clematis

A deciduous vine with wiry, climbing tendrils. Openly bell-shaped flowers are in bloom from summer through fall. Petals are rich purple and have a velvety texture. Stamens are pale golden and extra showy. Feathery, spherical seed heads remain after petals drop. Leaflets are medium green and more or less heart-shaped. Beneficial for hummingbirds and butterflies.
