Old Mexico Prickly Pear
A true cactus that spreads to form a shrubby fence. Gray-green cladodes are pad-like and wavy-edged. Widely spaced areoles lack spines. Large flowers are followed by prickly-pear fruits. Fruit ripens in summer. Tolerates high heat, as well as partial shade.
