A semi-evergreen tree with a straight trunk and an oval crown. Mature bark is furrowed and gray-brown. Extra large, dark green foliage is divided into many pointed, oval leaflets. No color change in fall. Inconspicuous flowers appear in spring. One-winged fruit forms on females. Resistant to oak root fungus. Native to Mexico.
