Grapefruit 'Star Ruby'

An evergreen fruit tree with a less vigorous growth habit. Blossoms are white and intensely fragrant. Leaves are waxy and dark green. Grapefruits are midsize and seedless. Rind is red-tinged. Flesh is ruby-red, flavorful, bitter-sweet, and juicy. Harvest from spring to fall. Can be a sporadic producer, more sensitive to extreme conditions, and more susceptible to pests and disease.
