An evergreen shrub with a compact, upright growth habit. Dark gray-green leaves are glossy, egg-shaped and aromatic. Dark, upright stems carry whorls of two-lipped flowers in intense cranberry red. Blooms from spring through fall. Attracts pollinators and beneficial insects.
