ACER PALMATUM 'SHISHIGASHIRA'
SHISHIGASHIRA JAPANESE MAPLE, LION'S HEAD MAPLE

A compact and shrubby deciduous tree with crinkled palmate leaves that grow in dense tufts along the stems. Summertime foliage is bright green. Fall foliage emits radiant shades of gold and crimson. Inconspicuous spring flowers are followed by pairs of samaras.
