Pony Tail Palm, Elephant's Foot

A palm-like succulent with an unusual multi-branching form. The base is gray-brown, leathery and becomes swollen with age until it resembles the foot of an elephant. Recurved green leaves sprout like top-knot ponytails. Insignificant cream-white flowers are rarely seen. Native to Mexico. Typically kept as an indoor plant.
