A dwarf perennial with smooth, triangular stalks that splay out into parasol-like whorls of grassy green foliage. Thrives in wet soil near ponds and bogs. Spreads quickly by rhizomes to form colonies. Dies back in frost, may be kept indoors in winter. Fine in containers.
